Chris contacted us after receiving abysmal service from his previous accountant. The experience caused Chris so much stress and money that he almost threw in the towel with his kitchen and bathroom design and installation business.
One of Chris’s family members recommended that he got in touch with Ellacott Morris, and since that day in May 2020, Chris hasn’t looked back.
Within a week of getting in touch, Frindec was fully onboarded as a new client, including implementing Xero for accounting. Chris was using paper-based accounting methods, but with some introductory training, he was soon up and running with Xero, loving the newfound efficiency it gave him.
Chris said: “Not only does Xero save me a huge amount of time now that I can raise invoices from my phone whilst out and about, but it also puts so much information at my fingertips. If I need to re-order something for a project, I find the last receipt from that supplier, and I know exactly what I need. When you’re a busy business owner – anything that saves you time is a godsend.”
Frindec currently uses Xero for all their invoicing, alongside the compatible DEXT expenses app for receipt logging. This makes Chris’s end of year accounts and self-assessment a breeze. No more sleepless nights worrying about how much will be owed.
Chris plans to extend his usage of Xero to include the quote function and other tools that he knows will benefit his business even further. With training and support on hand from our team, Chris isn’t daunted by the prospect of making even more of his business operations digital.
